First off, the obvious questions.... Q-HOW DO I PAY YOU or HOW AM I GUARENTEED TO GET THE ART ONCE I PAY? Easy...ok, the payment should be in money order ONLY format, made out to KEVIN KARSTENS...NOT Karstens Creations, please... Sent to.... 7470 Holbrook ln #212 Boise, ID 83704 PAYPAL is NOT an option, Im sorry to say, due to THEIR policies regarding 'adult material', should you wish to commission 'adult art'...otherwise, PayPal works fine. This is PayPals policy, not mine...sorry. Please be sure to include the PayPal 'additional processing fee' if you decide to use them... As to the guarantee aspect...think for a minute here...yes, I DO require the payment for a project in full up front...but why in the world would I ever just 'take the money and run', thereby ruining a reputaion I work hard to maintain, and in the process losing future business?...Nope, wont do it...and thats my promise!..;) (Plus, I can always give you the email addresses of a slew of faithful ongoing clients who will verify my validity...;) Just ask! Q-DO I GET THE FINISHED ARTWORK SENT BY SNAILMAIL? Yup...if you want it...up to you! You get an emailed BMP, JPEG, etc...and the original if you wish.. However, if you require the art to be mailed on a ZIP Disc, you will need to include the cost of said Zip Disc with commission payment, please... Also, any needed sizing for the art (say, over 150 DPI, for printing on your end, etc) needs to be stated PRIOR to the art being created... As to 'rights of use'...unless otherwise specified by you when you order something, I maintain the right to publish said commissioned art in my online portfolio, on my website, or post it to any newsgroup as sample art for Karstens Creations. Q-HOW MANY REVISIONS DO I GET (ie, how many times can I change the sketchwork to suit my needs)? Up to three revisions are covered in the initial commission cost...I will revise and alter a given sketch up to three times (counting the initial first sketch, plus two revisions) to suit your needs and get the correct 'look' you are after...after that, a seperate fee will need to be discussed, as the project will become more time consuming and potentially a money loss on my end. Q-IS THE ART I COMMISSION TO BE USED BY KARSTENS CREATIONS ON THE WEB AT ALL? Unless the art is of a personal nature (ie, a nude pic drawn of a friend or spouse, etc) YES Karstens Creations reserves the right to use the art as sample work for whatever purpose I require...onsite advertising, pay site additions, etc. Q-WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE ORIGINAL ART? 8"x11"...but larger art can be ordered...it just wont be able to fit in my scanner for you to ok as the project progresses...;) Q-WHAT ARE THE PRICES OF COMMISSIONED ARTWORK? Same sizes as above are as follows (larger artwork pricing is to be determined by the individual project, open to discussion...email for details, please) COLOR SINGLE PIC (non comic 'panel'pages)...........55.00 B&W SINGLE..........................................50.00 COLOR MULTI 'COMIC' PAGE (average 4-6 panels each)...65.00-70.00, depending on number of panels....65.00 on average. B&W COMIC PAGE .....................................55.00 CUSTOM PC ARCADE GAMES KC also can create custom made arcade style PC games on commission...they include characters YOU specify (toons, photos of family/friends, etc) in various Classic Arcade Scenarios.... MISSILE COMMAND style (incoming from above attack) GALAGA/SPACE INVADERS (top bomber attack) XEVIOUS/VANGUARD (side scrolling attack) SECOND/THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE- 3D Shooters, etc.... PUZZLE Games- TETRIS, JIGSAW, etc SPORTS- Hockey, Tennis, etc These PC games include WAV sounds of dialouge YOU SPECIFY and MIDI or WAV music you select. The games are self installing, emailed in a Winzip file. Average starting price for a custom game is 25.00. MANY sample games are available on my site (www.karcreat.com) and www.joblo.com CUSTOM SCREENSAVERS Much like the games above, these are WHATEVER YOU WANT TO SHOW...ALL sorts of COOL special FX included...fading/dissolving art/photos, animation, text animations, etc, etc.. WAV and MIDI sounds included, self installing.... Custom Savers start at 25.00.
